Rolawn reach agreement with Turfmech Machinery in mower design right actionFollowing the Court of Appeal granting Rolawn permission to Appeal the decision by Mr Justice Mann in its dispute against Turfmech machinery over the Maximow wide area mowers, Managing Directors Paul Dawson and Austin Jarrett have agreed a settlement of the whole dispute in order to avoid escalating costs which would have been incurred by taking the matter to the Appeal in January 2009.

As part of the joint agreement, Turfmech have agreed to keep out of the wide area mower market for a period of five years. Paul Dawson commented “Rolawn has and would always pursue its policy of defending its Intellectual Property rights vigorously”.
