The Leeds cluster group from the Society of Garden Designers were visitors this week to Rolawn. In the morning the visit gave the team of designers a chance to view Rolawn’s industry leading Medallion turf cultivation and harvesting process, with a healthy period of time spent discussing effective use of turf within landscape projects. In the afternoon the visit moved on to the company’s extensive topsoil and mulch manufacturing plant at Seaton Ross, where the group were shown the range of products available and how consistent high quality topsoils are produced.
Helen Voisey, Registered Member of the SGD, stated “it has been wonderful to see the expertise that goes into Rolawn products, which gives me great confidence in recommending products to clients. The new Rolawn ProMulch is quite a revelation, all of the Designers were impressed with it. Having used the product myself I can vouch for its performance.”
Jonathan Hill, Rolawn’s Sales & Marketing Director commented “I was delighted to spend a day with such an inquisitive and knowledgeable group of designers. The rain did its best but could not dampen anyone’s enthusiasm. These visits work in so many ways because they are a two way learning experience, vital in our product and services development.”
Rolawn production facility visits are available to all members of the SGD, as well as members from other horticultural organisations.
