My new lawn is very spongy. Should I use a roller on it?
We do not recommend using a roller on your lawn, as used incorrectly a roller will do more harm than good, as it can cause compaction. If your new lawn is spongy or soft under foot, it will usually firm up after it has been mown a few times.
