Harrogate Spring Flower Show a success for Rolawn and Rolawn-supported show gardens

The recent Harrogate Spring Flower Show was a huge success for Rolawn with show-goers taking great interest in the Medallion® Turf, topsoil and bark ranges displayed.

The Rolawn-supported show gardens also fared well with a silver gilt medal for John Cavill Garden Design and his garden ‘In The Garden’ which used Rolawn Medallion turf and Blended Loam topsoil. After only six days of being laid, the turf had rooted so well it was happy to be mowed. ‘On our show garden there can be no mistakes,’ said John. ‘So, mowing the lawn would normally be risky – but not with Rolawn. It is, without a doubt, Britain’s finest turf.’

Riseholme and Bishop Burton Colleges’ garden ‘It’s Still Me’ clinched a coveted Gold medal and the triumphant debutant trio of lead designer, Pippa Snowden ably supported by Alyson Harborne and Tina Orange were thrilled with the result. The garden used some of Rolawn’s Blended Loam topsoil within the expertly planted borders.

PRW Garden Services’ garden, ‘The Rustic Retreat’, which used Rolawn’s Blended Loam topsoil, was awarded a silver medal while Damson House Design was awarded a bronze for its show garden debut entry, the ‘Exploring Biophilia’ garden which included Rolawn Medallion turf and Blended Loam topsoil.

Rolawn’s Sales and Marketing Director, Jonathan Hill comments: “As always, Harrogate was a great start to our 2015 show season. It’s the first retail show we’ve done for a few years and I am very excited by the positive responses from the thousands of show-goers who came to visit us and the show gardens we supported. Already looking forward to next year!’
