Rolawn are celebrating their support of key designers who all selected Medallion turf for a range of show gardens that demonstrated the visual impact of quality natural turf.
Tony Smith used Cocoa as the theme for an inspired design which brought together tropical, temperate and equatorial habitats, through the inclusion of everything chocolate. Cocoa pods were joined by strawberries, ginger, chillies, oranges, walnuts, cherries and even an assault on the nasal senses of visitors with a bubbling chocolate infused lake winning Best Show Garden and the only RHS Gold Medal.
Tony commented, “I am delighted with being awarded Best Show Garden and Rolawn Medallion is simply the best quality turf available to me. I am delighted to feature their product in my design and judges commented on the excellent colour and appearance of the turf. I wouldn’t use anything else.”
Designer Johnny Warland also used Medallion turf as a backdrop to his infinity mirror garden bringing attention to the work of charity World Vision and their ‘Grow Hope’ campaign.
Young horticulturist, Harry Ward, and designer Yvonne Matthews both used turf within their designs, Harry improving on his Silver Medal from last year winning Silver Gilt.
Jonathan Hill Rolawn Sales & Marketing Director said, “The highest standards of design and garden construction demand the relevant quality of product, we are thrilled Medallion meets that standard.“
