Delivery is available to UK mainland addresses only.

Turf, topsoil, bark, soil improver and topdressing can be delivered on saturdays, except in the following postcode areas: AB, DD, IV, KW, PA20+, PH6-11 & PH15+.

There is an additional charge of £40 for Saturday delivery and orders must be placed by 10am on Friday.

Saturday delivery is only applicable for products where the delivery method stated in the basket is 'Tail lift & manual pallet truck' or 'Hiab'.

Please note deliveries of turf cannot be made on the Saturday after Good Friday.

For orders of turf, topsoil, bark, soil improver or topdressing, optional time slots are available to the majority of postcode areas* and can be selected in the basket once you have entered your postcode.

8am - 1pm = £10 extra per order
12 noon - 6pm = £10 extra per order

Timed deliveries are not available for products delivered by courier. The delivery method for each product will be shown in the basket once you have entered your postcode.

*Timed deliveries are not available in the following postcode areas: AB, CA12, CA16-21, CA26-27, DD, DG5-9, EH31-42, FK18-21, IV, KA, KW, KY, PA20+, PH, TQ & TR.

When you order turf, topsoil, mulch, soil improver, bark or topdressing before 10am, Monday to Friday, delivery can be made the following day. Simply select Express or Saturday delivery in the basket. An additional charge of £15 applies for Express delivery. Saturday deliveries incur a supplementary charge of £40. When you order after 10am on Friday the earliest day for delivery is Tuesday.

Next day delivery and Saturday delivery are not available in the following postcode areas: AB, DD, IV, KW, PA20+, PH6-11 & PH15+.

Please note turf can be delivered Tuesday to Friday, or Saturday for an additional charge.

For all other products the delivery timescale is detailed on the individual product page.

Standard delivery of turf and bulk bags is usually within 2 to 3 working days. The next available delivery dates are shown in the basket after entering your postcode.

Next day delivery is available when you order before 10am, Monday to Friday and select Express or Saturday Delivery in the basket, for which additional charges apply. When you order after 10am on Friday the earliest day for delivery is Tuesday.

Express delivery and Saturday delivery are not available in the following postcode areas where extended lead times apply: AB, DD, IV, KW, PA20+, PH6-11 & PH15+.

Please note turf can only be delivered Tuesday to Saturday.

Products which are shown in the basket as being delivered by courier will be delivered separately to turf and/or bulk bags and delivery dates and options, such as timed and Saturday delivery, do not apply.

Turf and bulk bags

Deliveries will usually be made anytime from 8am up until 6pm on your chosen delivery day.

If your delivery has not arrived by mid afternoon, please call us on 01904 757372 if you require an estimated time of arrival.

Optional time slots are available to the majority of postcodes for a supplementary charge. If you intend to the lay turf on the day of delivery, for larger quantities we strongly recommend booking an earlier time slot to allow sufficient time for laying. 

Products delivered by courier

For lawn seed & fertiliser deliveries by courier, DPD Local will send you a notification with an estimated delivery slot, providing we have a valid mobile number or email address on the order.

It is best if you are in to accept the delivery. We will attempt to deliver if you are not present and the driver will determine the most appropriate positioning for your goods. With unattended deliveries, Rolawn cannot accept any liability for theft, product deterioration or consequences arising from the positioning of your delivery.

Deliveries of lawn fertiliser and lawn seed are made by DPD Local courier. If you are not available to take delivery the courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. Follow the instructions on the card to rearrange delivery. You will also receive an email, text or notification via the DPD app giving you the option to rearrange your delivery with the courier or arrange for it to be left somewhere safe.

Kerbside delivery means that the delivery will be placed as close to your property as possible, as deemed safe by the driver. In most cases, this will be on the pavement outside your property.

To avoid damage to your property by heavy vehicles, delivery of turf, topsoil, bark, soil improver and topdressing can be made to kerbside only. This means we undertake to place the goods as close to your property as deemed safe by the driver.

The delivery method and type of off-loading that is expected to be used will be shown against each product in the basket once you have entered your postcode.

Turf and bulk bags are generally delivered on pallets and off-loaded using a tail lift and positioned using a manual pallet truck. Manual pallet trucks can only operate on a flat, level, concreted, or similar firm surface. They cannot operate on slopes, gravel, earth, grass or any other type of non-solid surface.

Within the M25 and in certain postcodes surrounding the M25 pallets of turf/bulk bags will usually be off-loaded using a vehicle mounted hydraulic crane ('hiab') which lowers the pallet/bulk bag to ground level. Bulk bags will not be delivered on pallets when delivered via 'hiab'.

Delivery is to kerbside only. Turf and bulk bags will usually be offloaded using a tail-lift and pallet truck and therefore cannot be lifted over a hedge or fence. Within the M25 and in certain postcodes surrounding the M25, where deliveries are made using a vehicle mounted hydraulic crane ('hiab') we may be able to lift over low walls or hedges, but this will be at the discretion of the driver. Our bulk bags and pallets are 'non-returnable'. Please dispose of them responsibly.

Once you have placed your order we will send an email confirming your purchase and delivery details. If the email does not reach you, please check your junk or spam folder; if it hasn't arrived please call us on 01904 757372.

If you have ordered lawn seed or fertiliser you will receive notifications about delivery from the courier, DPD Local, via email, text message or the DPD mobile phone app.

If you have ordered turf or bulk bags you will not receive any further communication unless you have specifically requested this in the delivery notes section. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a call ahead from the delivery driver, as it is not always possible for the driver to stop to make a call.

For deliveries of lawn lawn seed and fertiliser which are sent by courier, you will receive notifications via email, text message or the DPD app to enable you to track delivery of your order, if you have supplied us with a valid email address or mobile number.

For deliveries of turf or bulk bags, tracking isn't currently available with the third party carriers we use. If your delivery has not arrived by mid-afternoon, please call us on 01904 757372 if you require an estimated time of arrival.

Standard delivery to the majority of UK mainland postcodes is inclusive on orders of £50 or more and included in the listed prices*. On orders under £50 delivery is charged at £4.99.

For turf and bulk bags optional time slots/next working day/Saturday deliveries are available to the majority of postcodes for an additional charge.

All delivery charges will be clearly shown in the basket once you have entered your postcode and selected your delivery options, before proceeding to checkout.

*Supplementary delivery charges apply to a small number of UK postcodes that are further afield for which our carrier charges us more to deliver.

If you provide a valid email address during checkout you will receive a confirmation email containing full details of your order; this is also your VAT invoice.

Yes, unless stated otherwise, all prices quoted on our website include VAT at the current rate.

Once you have entered your postcode and selected any delivery options the total cost including VAT and delivery will be shown in the basket before you proceed to our secure checkout.

Please note, lawn seed is zero-rated for VAT.

For turf and bulk bags you can choose a convenient delivery date and optional time slots in the basket before you proceed to our secure checkout.

Please note the delivery date selected in the basket does not apply to products which are delivered by courier. If you have provided a valid email address or mobile number you will receive a notification from the courier of the intended delivery date with options to select a more convenient date if necessary.

No, we do not currently offer any small bags.

GroRight Lawn Fertiliser Weed & Moss Killer has been discontinued. If a fertiliser-only product is sufficient, our GroRight Lawn Establishment Fertiliser can also be used as a topfeed. Alternatively, your local garden centre or DIY store may be able to offer an appropriate triple-action product.
