Richard Jackson - Former Chairman, Greenfingers Charity
“10 years on .... Greenfingers has now completed 28 gardens at children’s hospices throughout the UK and for nearly all of those our friends at Rolawn have been a major supporter. Their high-quality turf and top soil have been supplied, free of charge, to all but a few (which didn’t require turf!) willingly, accurately and they have become a real help in our aim to create magical gardens at children’s hospices.
“Help from suppliers like this is a major part of the contribution we can make to brightening the lives of children with life-limiting conditions and their families during their stay at a hospice; giving them and their families the best environment in those difficult days.
“Our work is greatly appreciated by the hospices and the families of the children and I am sure they would join me in saying a very big thank you to Rolawn for their considerable help – which we all hope can continue!”
Garden Re-Leaf Day
Rolawn also supports Garden Re-Leaf Day, the garden industry version of Comic Relief and Sports Relief, which takes place each spring to raise money for Greenfingers Charity.
