We are recruiting for the position of Cold Store & Courier Supervisor to be based at our Seaton Ross site.
The successful candidate will be the day-to-day team leader for the planning, picking and labelling of courier orders, taking responsibility for the cooling operation and ensuring retail orders are efficiently processed and vehicles safely loaded. This is a hands-on role and will involve manual warehouse duties and handling heavy products.
It is essential that you hold a valid forklift licence (counterbalance) and have recent experience of working in a busy warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience of load planning and a level of understanding of engineering to oversee plant and machinery. Previous supervisory experience is desirable, but not essential.
You must be organised, able to work on your own initiative and be comfortable working alone and as part of the team and be willing to undertake additional tasks when required.
The role is permanent, and you will be working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, plus overtime. A flexible approach to hours will be required, particularly at peak times.
You must have permission to work in the U.K and hold a current U.K. driving licence.
